Recovery Rally 2018

WHO ?

Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. a local non-profit organization working to create a community where Recovery is possible for people suiffering with the disease of addiction.  

INFORMATION

This event is to raise awareness of substance use disorder and to celebrate recovery and encourage individuals with substance use disorder to seek recovery and achieve a healthy, happy life. Substance use disorders can affect anyone; individuals, friends, family, co-workers, and our community. This event will offer entertainment by artist and advocates in recovery, guest speakers, testimonials, resource booths, and activities. Our community must remain vigilant and dedicated to the recovery process by helping people address these preventable and treatable conditions, and support individuals in recovery, as well as their family members, and our community.


This is a family friendltyevent. There will be activities and entertainment for all ages. There will be some seating provided byut you are welcome to bring your own lawn chair.

Downtown Wilkesboro, NC

Wilkes Telecommunication Pavilion/Carolina West Commons

 

WHY?

In order to make a true and lasting differnce, it is important to provide community resources and well as show our community that recovery is possible and is happening right here in Wilkes County. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

This is a family friendlty event. There will be activities and entertainment for all ages. There will be some seating provided but you are welcome to bring your own lawn chair. There will be food vendors and food for sale at this event.
