This 5-day training is ideal for people in recovery, family members, professionals, and allies who want to become Recovery Coaches—non-clinical peers who promote recovery by removing barriers and building recovery capital. Participants will explore active listening, motivational interviewing, stages of change, ethical considerations, and the power of connection in the recovery process.

Harm Reduction Pathways
Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. offers Recovery Coach: A Harm Reduction Pathway Training, an innovative extension of the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy that focuses specifically on supporting individuals who use drugs through a harm reduction lens.

Hosted by Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc., this outdoor benefit festival is more than just a concert — it’s a vibrant, pro social event that uplifts individuals in recovery, educates the broader community, and celebrates the strength and spirit of Appalachia.

Awareness Day
Each year on August 31st, Wilkes Recovery Revolution, Inc. hosts a powerful community gathering in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day, the world’s largest campaign to end overdose, reduce stigma, and honor the lives lost to substance use.

This event brings together survivors, families, community members, and service providers to remember loved ones, support those in recovery, and raise awareness about the impact of overdose in Wilkes County and beyond. The event features guest speakers, a candlelight vigil, resource booths, memorial displays, and opportunities for healing and connection.
