Responsible for ensuring that organization's services are equitable and accessible to everyone. This committee is composed of diverse staff members and volunteers who are responsible for helping bring about the cultural, and possibly ethical, changes necessary for WRR.  This committee will also be responsible for ensuring WRR’s policies and procedures align with a culturally competent environment. 

Responsible for reviewing budgets initially prepared by staff, to help develop appropriate procedures for budget preparations, recommend financial guidelines to the board, work with staff to design financial reports and ensure that reports are accurate and timely, oversee short and long-term investments, and to advise the executive director and other appropriate staff on financial priorities and information systems.   

Responsible for ensuring the organization is carrying out its vision and mission and meeting all standards. Researches and recommends procedures for changing or updating the Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, etc., as needed. Ensures proper requirements are being fulfilled each year. Responsible for creating policy and procedures for WRR events and activities. Generally, makes sure WRR is operating under correct policies and procedures. Assist with the creation of annual strategic plan. 

Responsible for overseeing the WRR’s overall fundraising.  The Fundraising & Events committee will work with staff to establish a fundraising plan that incorporates a series of appropriate vehicles, such as special events, direct mail, product sales, etc., work with fundraising staff in their efforts to raise money, will take the lead in certain types of outreach efforts, and will be responsible for involvement of all board members in fundraising.
